VXAR Waterproof Shoe Cover Motorcycle Black3 4XL

I have to wear Vibrams due to back pain. They are not waterproof. I live near Seattle. I don't have far to go to work, but it's far enough to get my socks wet (there's always that one puddle I don't see in time), and then I have to work like that. Yick, but better than back pain.Enter these! They have completely flat soles with no support which was EXACTLY what I wanted. They look sturdy enough to hold up for a year or so of light use. When they arrived, it was pouring rain. I popped these on over my Vibrams, grabbed my dog and rain jacket, and walked around the apartment complex. I stepped in all the deep puddles and walked down the length of the temporary little rivers. Despite being subjected to depths of up to four inches, my Vibrams, socks and feet came back from the walk completely dry.

These are great rain boots...I wear an 11.5 men'sshoe and these 4x fit my motorcycle boots perfectly...try to get a size a little larger than you need...boots arewell made and have a sturdy, rippled, grippy sole...they have a zipper up the middle of the top of the footwith a flap that allows for easy slip on...and they havea drawstring around the ankle to keep them secure...I wore a pair on a recent motorcycle riding trip in TNand NC...they performed great and kept my bootsand feet dry on one day of riding in therain...give these boots a try....the price is very reasonablefor what you get...

I got permission from my back doctor to attend a music festival but the forecast is calling for rain. I don't do outside activities enough to warrant the cost of rain boots and, more importantly, I HAVE to wear my "good" shoes if my back is going to last the trip. [My experience with rain boots is that they don't offer much arch support.] Eureka! These were my answer! I wear a women's size 8 so I ordered these in an XL. They would not fit over the clunky heal of my New Balance sneakers [well, they would but I didn't want to risk tearing them] but they fit perfectly over my suede moccasins [with the ortho inserts] and over my canvas "Keds." I had to spray the infamous Georgia pollen off my porch today--a job that usually results in soaked shoes so I decided to test these covers before the trip. [And AS I typed that, it just occurred to me that I could have tested them in the shower. Duh.] My work pants ended up soaked straight through but my shoes and socks were dry as a bone! :) Oh. I should mention--it's hard to make these fit as well as possible without the detachable top straps [even though they have a zippered front and a drawstring around the top]. My first pair arrived with only one of the straps. However, as soon as I let the seller know that the strap was missing, they sent me a replacement pair in very short order, which I very much appreciated. I also want to add that these have a rubber sole. Yay. Good product for the money.

UPDATE 4/17/18:Originally, I bought the XXXL size for some reason, but they were too large. I left a review thinking that the XXXL was the only size available (see below), and Lucy from VXAR contacted me to generously provide me with the correct size at no cost. This was nice (though likely at almost no cost to them either, as these aren't exactly made of gold, but as I mentioned before, very functional and held up fine after a few uses) and I applaud them for it. That said, the new XXL pair fit my shoes better but the real problem was revealed: the heels do not stay put. Even walking around my apartment, the heel continuously slipped down, dragging the entire boot down with it. So I'm not going to change the rating.I will add that I purchased the SZAT PRO version of it at the same time. While they came in identical packaging and are clearly rip-offs of the same original brand (even the opaque bag to hold them it was the same), the SZAT's were far superior since they came with an elastic band that went across the top of the shoe from side to side that worked to hold up the heel against the shoe. Highly effective.Note also that when I came back here to re-write this review, I noticed that some of the images in reviews for this (the VXAR) product, it seems like this elastic band exists. Mine did not come with it, but maybe ymmv?ORIGINAL:It kept my shoes dry as long as it stayed up. It was really just too large. I wear a men's 9.5 shoe, and these galoshes were clownish. Maybe a big of an exaggeration, but the tops never stayed up no matter how tight I pulled the elastic and the bottoms would slide until I was walking on the side of the cover. I biked in them mostly, and they would also catch my panniers on every rotation.Like I said, very functional, but I wish they fit better. Returned.

I had surgery on my foot and have to wear a special shoe day and night. I am a rancher and need to go into the barn with my Cows so I needed to cover and protect my foot and shoe from the manure. These VXAR shoe covers did the job. I’ve been wearing them for a week now every day and have never had a problem. They slip on and off easily and remain snug with no leaks or tears. Great product!!!

They look like trash bag covers. Sure they can repeal water but they look super stupid. Please don’t buy these. A friend of mine was laughing at how dumb they look. Nothing like the picture.

I got these boots to take with us when we travel to rainy parts of the world. They are very lightweight and they will lay flat for packing. They are designed to be very sturdy and totally waterproof.

Bought for my son who has a 9.5 foot and I ordered XXXL and they just fit, but he wore them the first time and they protected his shoes just as they should.

I used the over boots as a waterproof cover for my motorcycle boots. The VXAR come with elastic straps that popper on to the VXAR to keep the soles in place, including a spare. Nice touch, as the spare is needed.... they break. After two times wearing the VXAR over boots I now have just one elastic strap. The VXAR are water proof and in other respects seem to be well enough made, but without the elastic strap you cannot walk in them
