Whitefurze G01P60 60cm Milano Patio Planter - Terracotta

I have 8 of these and they have proved to be ideal containers for growing salads in my greenhouse this winter, and some are now planted up with onions, garlic and shallots and are outside in my garden. The size works perfectly with the typical modular size of most greenhouses. An 8 foot long greenhouse will house 8 along one side . Depth (24cm to rim) and width (30cm) means there is good space and root depth for vegetables to grow well. There are no drainage holes, but these are easily made with a hand or power drill. Plastic is not particularly strong, and when they are full of wet soil they are heavy, so move them with care supporting the base. I expect them to last for a good few years if I handle them properly. They stack well when not in use.It is now 2022 so I've had them 7 years. They are still in excellent condition - been inside and outside my greenhouse all this time, through summer and winter. Can't fault them.

I brought this a few weeks ago for my veg so far it quite good so i might have to buy i another for my other veg that has grown it ready for new pots

Product is what is it - fairly sturdy, no drainage holes so you will need to make them yourself. Exactly what I was looking for. Would have scored 5 stars if it wasn't for the INSANE AMOUNT OF PACKAGING the product was delivered in. I ordered 2 - which would have easily fitted inside each other, instead they were delivered in 2 seperate boxes, each of which were circa THREE TIMES THE SIZE OF THE PRODUCT. My heart bleeds for the trees that died to make those boxes, ironically to deliver pots to grow more trees. I actually need more but will not be ordering more from whitefurze - I don't have time to take all that packaging apart and drive to my nearest recycling centre.

Lightweight. Good size, value for money

Arrived swiftly and just what I needed. Had to drill drainage holes but no problem. Quite deep and took a lot of compost. Got salad seedlings in it now more than happy in the potting shed.

Very pleased with troughs. Ok they need holes put in bottom but some people don't want that. Altogether looks sturdy and long lasting and will be a good addition to my garden. Keep well and safe everybody 😷

These tubs were perfect for what I want - a simple, light-weight tub to put herb in.They match the terracotta colour of our fence perfectly & were the size to get 2 largish herbs in one & 3 slightly smaller herbs in the other.Plus they arrive earlier than expected

I am very pleased with these, but I do wish I could find a tray to go with them because I am using it indoors for my Cucamelons which are in the frame of a clothes hanging thing under grow lights. I was going to put the troughs outside when they weather gets better but the plants have grown too quickly so by the time the weather does change everything will be too big to carry outside!
