Amazing results
Excellent results. My mushroom growing has been upgraded by these jars. I had middling results mixing up my own substrate with my poor quality jars. I got tired of it and bought these. Wonderful! Colonized strongly in half the time of my last endeavor. They also allow air exchange, good for growing. Edit: Last time I bought some of these the injection port came out of the jar. I sent an email with a picture to the seller, and they replaced it no questions asked. I would give them an extra star if I could.

All the jars colonized!
So...I purchased these jars may months ago. I innoculated with alcohol, sterile gloves, mask, flame torch...all the necessary components. 3 of the jars colonized healthy white mycellium, 2 were moldy and 1 didn't start growing at all. I communicated this statistic to the owner and he was extremely kind as to give me another batch of jars to attempt my grow! This time, I decided to invest in an innoculation chamber with a hepa filter and positive pressure so that particles couldn't enter during the process. 100% of the jars have now fully colonized with white healthy mycellium! I am super grateful for the kindness of the owner to give me a second chance in attempting this grow! And can't wait for them to begin fruiting in my new chamber!

Overall a waste of money, bad quality control as product came with contam
Seller has terrible quality control as two of the jars were lost to contamination with one having visible contamination on arrival, the other showing significant contamination a week after inoculation. Two more jars failed to take at all 30 days after inoculation, no growth was visible after opening the jar . As for the final two jars, those two did have growth after around 14-18 days, which has admittedly been slow due to, I believe, how dry and compacted the substrate is, where colonization is around 10% of the jar after 30 days. I estimate that it will take 60 days for the full cake to colonize and even then I have my doubts. As for the jars themselves, I don't they can be reused for reasons other reviewers have stated (e.g. rusty lids).

Fantastic! Perfectly made and sterile.
These are FANTASTIC. This takes the hardest part of mycology out of the equation. All those other people complaining about mold are probably the result of user error. These are perfectly sterile and the injection point with gas exchange filter makes everything easier. I have successfully inoculated all 6 jars with no contaminants or mold. All you need is a still air box, some alcohol swabs, hand sanitizer, gloves, and a sterile needle. Do everything inside the box, keep your gloves drenched in hand sanitizer, and wipe everything down constantly with alcohol swabs. They are a bit pricey, but I'd rather pay than deal with the headache of self-made jars with incorrect moisture content or contams inside.

50/50 shot
My only contamination I’ve ever had was from this but the ones that did work, worked very well.

One jar contaminated
One jar was contaminated, but the other 5 seem to be holding up so far. Over all I’m pretty happy with it. Next time going to make my own though for the cost.

12 Days In Jars Have Worked Perfectly So Far.
This is my first time growing mycelium. I ordered June 26th a Friday, and they arrived June 29th Monday.I noticed other people complaining that the substrate seemed dense and hard, and I was worried because my jars seemed hard as well. It was a solid mass and rattled slightly in the jar. I posted a question about it and received multiple answers that day saying it should be fine and will not impede growth. I inoculated on July 3rd in a still air box, sometimes the needle clogged but I simply pulled the syringe back a bit, pushed out some LC and it cleared every time. Each jar got around 2 CC's of liquid. I placed them under my desk in a meshed cat carrier and covered the carrier with a towel. I was very careful with sterility and ordered spores from a very reputable vendor.I thought I saw growth on the 4th day and definitely saw growth on the 5th. These are my jars today, 12 days after inoculation. The backs of the jars are completely white with growth and I have not noticed any contamination (though to be fair I am a complete noob).Overall I am extremely pleased with this product. It arrived in 3 days, the self-healing tops worked, the mycelium began growing right away and I've seen no contamination yet. I will definitely order these again and they are getting a deserved 5 stars from me.I have two very small gripes. First is I wish the silicone top was in the center of jars. It's hard/almost impossible get the needle to opposite sides of the glass. Second is that I feel 45 dollars was a little steep for 6 jars. HOWEVER, the convenience of pre-mixed substrate that is already sterilized with a self sealing top is honestly worth the money for someone like me who can't afford a pressure cooker and doesn't really have the space for one.I will definitely be buying this product again. If anyone has a question on my method feel free to ask!

DEFECT PRODUCT ***BUYER BEWARE***
Paid premium for product, jars had rust on lid, one just had growth in it when opening box, one jar of 5 inoculated has not shown any growth!Would stay away from buying from this seller, there are better mushroom supply businesses online!
