I bought this We R Memory Keepers Foil Quill Starter Kit to use with my Silhouette Cameo 4, and it works really well. The adapters fit perfectly into the Cameo tool carriage, and the tips heat up quickly via USB.The kit includes three tip sizes — fine, standard, and bold — allowing you to create both delicate details and bold metallic accents. The foil transfers smoothly and clearly on cardstock and paper when using slower speeds and firm pressure.The starter pack comes with several foil sheets and heat-resistant tape — great for beginners and small projects. I was hesitant to buy this Quill kit for my Cricut Maker 3 because I could not find a definite answer as to whether it worked with the Maker 3 or not. I kept seeing reviews and comments stating that it worked great with the Maker but not the Maker 3 because the Maker 3 moved too quickly for the heat application to successfully transfer the foil, or the commenter just stated they used it with their Cricut but did not specify which machine specifically. After trying the Cricut foil tool and not being thrilled with the results, I finally gave in and bought this kit, and I am glad I did.I posted pics for comparison of using a metallic gold pen, the Cricut medium foil tool, and this WRMK medium quill with 65lb cardstock and the Cricut brand gold foil. Although the WRMK quill is not 100% perfect, it is way better than the Cricut tool and I like the results a lot better.I hope this review helps others who own a Maker 3 and are on the fence about buying this foil quill kit.

I have a Silhouette Portrait 4 and I wanted to foil some Christmas ornaments that were made from thick cardstock. It took a little trial and error but I finally found the right settings for the paper & walla! my Christmas ornaments were made. My family loved them. I will be making more card using the We R Memory foiling system. If you're having issues please try again with different settings. The one thing I can say is that it may take another piece of cardstock under your project to get the correct depth & pressure. That was the fix for me. It was a great value for the price point & are easy to use.

Used it to score some acrylic and made some invitations. Worked great.

Excellent product

I used the fine tip to make 100 thank you cards, it drew a border and the words thank you. Because the tip is smaller, it looked like there were lines going across the letters to fill in the thicker areas of the script. I was a little worried at first but every one assured me that the lines looked like a design feature. The fine tip script writing looked so clean! I did have some difficulty after using it for a long time straight so adhere to the suggested limitations of the time usage. Also make sure you screw it into the holder well, as I didnt and it made the foiling look jagged and weird. You wont get a smooth finish for any images bigger than the tip of the foil pen like you would with a die and foiling machine, but this allows much more customization! Overall, Im very pleased with my purchase. (I used it with a brother scan n cut and the we r memory keepers foil sheets, which lay nice and flat when you put them down since they are not stored as a roll... Happy crafting! :)

I found this easy to use and it brings my card and scrapbooks up a notch! I used it to write happy birthday. I use it in Silhouette Cameo 4.

I used these to make my own wedding invites on acrylic with silver foil. So easy to use and even though Cricut says using non-cricut products can void their warranty, I used these for 2 weeks straight daily and there wasn't a single negative effect to my Maker 3.These are heating elements, so I would not leave the house with them plugged in for safety, but 5hey don't get as hot as you might think. I would purchase more adapters if you plan to use multiple tips as once though. Swapping them out is just asking to harm your hands.
