Ranger Green? Nah I was in the Desert-so coyote tan
Had one of these years ago (2004-2009). Gave it with old Alice gear to my nephew who was active. After several years of not hiking, I got the go ahead from my doctor to start cardio again. This gonna be my operator gear.

Pretty good pack for the money
I like the pack, showed up faster than I was quoted, I'm not a fan of the way the main interior compartment closes and planned on removing it if I liked the pack, as I opened it up and was looking it over, I opened up the main compartment, holding the pack by the roll up inside closure flap and put my hand in to pop it out of flat and just about all of the inside closure flap tore out, for me it's no big deal I planned on removing it, I test pulled/yanked the rest of the pack and it stayed together, seems pretty solid, stitched well, keeping it and using a dry bag inside the main compartment

Awesome little pack
I've purchased 3 of these packs and I love them. They are sturdy, useful, little buttpacks. It's closer to a small backpack than the old .mil buttpack, so it can carry a lot. I mounted one on a Condor battle belt with suspenders. I also mounted 2x of those molle tactical water bottle pouches. (they are the perfect size for Walmart's Ozark Trail 36oz steel water bottles). This little pack allows me to always have everything I need when I go out hiking in the mountains. The 3 outer pockets easily hold my water filter, med kit, food bars, etc. The main flap has a top pouch and an admin pocket underneath. The main flap has a waterproof lining underneath. The main compartment is lined with waterproof fabric which extends out of the bag with a strap so you can close it like a dry bag. Not too shabby. The main pouch holds my esbit stove, bug spray and sunscreen, poncho, wool sweater, and etc with room to spare.Overall, it's a pretty good little pack. There is one issue I found- The stitching on my original packs' pouches blew out and I had to hand-stitch it back into shape. That was easy and it has held up ever since. I rely on this pack every time I go out in the woods, so I've had a lot of experience with it and I can't find anything similar to replace it, which is why I got 2 more. Give it a try. Oh, and currently as of August 2024, the OD Green pack is about 20$ cheaper than the other colors available, which is pretty cool.

One of the, if not THE, best Butt Packs on the Market
I picked this Butt Pack up to use with my day gear. It is an excellent little piece of equipment and well worth the money. The bag itself comes in an olive green. It has a large inner pouch, 3 medium size and one smaller size pouch on the outside. It has solid quality straps and buckles and Molle attachable. The top pouch is perfect for carrying smaller items such as a compass, map, ferro rods, folding (secondary or third) knife, It closes with a solid zipper and is easily accessible with the gear on a belt or pack. The inner pack has two pockets that are accessible. There is one on the inside of the upper flap and the bottom pocket has a storm closure so that you can keep the items inside secure and clean. The entire pack is waterproof and has an poly urethane lining to shed water. In addition in the main pocket there are two small drain holes in the bottom should the pack become submerged. Each of the pockets have quick release clips, and a draw string closure to keep contents secure. The attachable gear is suited to a pistol belt, a tactical vest, and a Molle or Alice pack. This is one QUALITY piece of gear. I saw one of the answers to the questions was that it wasn't canvas and this was somehow a drawback. You can go to a surplus store and buy an used Army butt pack, but it will be only one pocket and will be canvas. But the Fox pack is made out of tactical polyester and is as rugged as possible. It will hold up under any stresses that is required of it, and keep on coming.I use mine for hunting and day trips. The inner pack in addition to the aforementioned, is also equipped with a zipper closure, so it is a great place to stow a lunch, the pouches carry mags very well, and other shooting gear so it is great for the range, and it is something that your kids can use to carry their stuff in for school or other after school activities. All in all, this is one of the best Butt Packs on the market and you don't want to miss having one in your kit. Buy it, and you will appreciate the price and quality, and above all, the flexibility of use.

1.6 lbs, not 0.6 lbs
The amazon page says it weight 0.6 lbs. I weighed it, and it weighs 1.6 lbs. 1.6 lbs is 0.726 kg. This is quite a lot of weight for its capabilities (not fully water resistant like watershed bags for similar or less weight).

Great piece of kit for bushcrafting.
I am and avid bow hunter and bush crafter. I use this butt pack on a 3'' oiled leather tool belt. It comfortably holds my cook kit, alcohol stove and fuel. cordage, 2 pair of gloves, a tool kit sewing, fishing, and a small first aid kit. and couple days of food too if i like. I like my kits and loads spread around my body rather then carrying a pack. This pack is perfect to carry items that i would leave in camp, while out hunting, foraging and checking trap lines. It is well constructed, Here in the Pacific Northwest it rains 10 months of the year. having the roll down storm flap was a nice bonus. My brother and I call it the mini-alice pack LOL. it rides on my hip nicely. for added water shedding i put a coat of candle wax. although probably wasnt needed.

It is large and it works.
So it is big in a pattern that is hard to find, if you are looking for a buttpack to negate the need for GP pouches or a maybe a small daypack, this is your guy. A rolled poncho will fill but fit in the outer pockets. Water resistant for certain, even packing extra ammo I have maybe filled it up once.So the bad, molle straps are too long. However even if they were not, the fact that they left it the slot for Alice compatibility means you can not get a solid weave through the Molle you are mounting to even with replacement molle straps, because the ones that line up are too low leaving the top half to flop around unless you can find a way to run a harness through and attach. For a large buttpack it works, but is certainly not optimal or as good as it could be.
