Fits with aftermarket plug wires
For my application I didn't need all of the parts of the kit and had to order plug wires separately. I knew it when I ordered it. The Onan engine in my Case 1816C skid steer runs great on this coil with the aftermarket wires.

Works on older Onan generators.
I have an old early 70's Onan generator. The original coil is hard to find and can be very expensive. I had to make a mounting spot for it but it works perfectly.

Fit my onan bf motor just fine. Got spark back for me. I have this coil in another machine and has been good for years now. Outlasted the original. Will see, hope for the same this time.

Check your coils ohms to make sure it’s the correct one
The coil I received is not the correct ohms. It’s actually for a solid state ignition. Make sure you check the ohms of the coil you receive.Says it’s for a Onan BF

Works but not identical to original
I got the lawnmower running again with this coil, however looks nothing like the original and did not fit in the space where the original was. Just tied it on the side of the engine for now.
