First Communion Banner Kit - 12 x 18 - Holy Spirit

The instructions were wonderful and described the significance of each decoration for the kit. A great deal of thought went into this. We opted to use hot glue instead of the glue included so it was sturdier and dried faster. The banner turned out great and my son is excited to hang it in his room after first communion.

Great Bible lesson, had fun making banner with our little one. It came out perfect, it was easy and there was plenty of glitter glue for the embellishments. I sewed the loops at the top but you don’t have to, the glue holds very well. We just waited to the last minute to make the banner, it was wise to just sew the top because we are procrastinators All in all, it was actually fun and the bonus was the Bible lesson. Thanks!

Our burgundy top and bottom pieces came wrinkled and there is only one number 2 so if you want to put the year (2023), which we have done with our past two kids, you need to find another number which is not as easy as it sounds, or make one. Otherwise generally this fits the need.

The tacky glue doesn’t work, nor does Elmer’s glue. You will need a glue gun to put the felt pieces on.

I was very impressed by this kit. It was fun and easy to put the pieces together just the way we wanted, and I liked moving the felt pieces around ahead of time to make it just right. I made a couple changes to the original design which made it just right 😊

Love how easy this makes this project. The kids loved that they could produce a nice banner and customize it by moving pieces around, yet they didn’t have to come up with it all on their own. Used one of these kits 2 years ago and again this year. I tell everyone about them!
