Works really well on my Android TV
First off, for those wondering about the back button - it's on the same button as Home (press for back, hold for home). I was using the Wechip remote with a keyboard on the back but some things didn't work. The back button when watching something in Plex for one. I also didn't use the keyboard much as the keys were hard to press. This one suits me much better. There is a microphone which works flawlessly. The buttons are hard to press but have a good click to them. Feels good in the hand. Nice and light. The only things I've found are:1) you can't hold the home button to get to the app list, as you need to hold the button to press home. No biggie for me.2) the OK button still won't choose an input. I need to use the remote that came with the TV to do that.EDIT: the remote is classed as a keyboard too, so this disabled the on screen keyboard on my Android TV. Annoying. However, I can change input by pressing the voice button and saying "change input to HDMI 1" for example.

Better Than Expected
Needed a new remote for my htpc and took a chance with this device. Have to say its much better than i expected, works perfectly on Windows and Linux and seemed to work fine also on my Lg Tv.Not the most exciting of products are remote controls but at the price this was a bargain

A great little device that is just made for the android tv box
This is a great add-on for anyone using an android tv box. I didn't need to carry out any setup after inserting the dongle into the tv box's usb port, as it worked straight from the box - even the on/off button at the top of the mouse worked on my android box, but there are also clear instructions for pairing this with your box properly so you only have to use the one remote to switch on or off. Using the mouse does take some getting used to - at times the cursor appearing to waver too far one way or another, but a quick shake so the gyroscope settles, or carrying out the included instructions for calibrating the mouse to the screen is all that is needed. The mouse is also priced very reasonably. I wouldn't be without it now, and I highly recommend it.

Does what it claims
I have an Nvidia Shield which works brilliantly except that I have always disliked the remote. Whilst it works fine it is thin, appears fragile and is easily misplaced (particularly when you have young children). I had therefore been on the lookout for a replacement (just in case) and had been keeping my eyes open. Having read the reviews I thought, as the DroiX G10 was reasonably priced compared to the exorbitant Nvidia remote, I'd give it a go. It is more robust than the original and worked from the moment I plugged in the usb. It does everything that I want to do on the shield and the mouse/pointer seems to work fine though it is not something that I bought the item for. As far as I am concerned, well worth the money and works well.

Non symmetrical lateral movement.
Something very wrong with this device as it moves the onscreen cursor very easily to the right but needs huge movements to move it left. Missed the return window so it will just go in the bin.Bought the quality Rii equivalent that wasn't in stock when I ordered this and it's perfect!

Great for just 'point and click' but I don't like the buttons.
For just pointing and clicking this is one of the best. The anti-shake is excellent while still very responsive - some lose out on this equation. It has 3 DPI settings but the range is limited and none are particularly fast. As I'm already used to air mice I maxed the speed on my computer's mouse setting and it's fine but if you're a 'super fast' mouse user you might be frustrated. But the buttons - the whole area is rubberised so you can't easily slide your thumb around. It's basically flat and the buttons are all right next to each other so it's very hard to find the right one without looking down at it. It's far to easy to hit the wrong button - all too often, I go for right click and my browser page changes. It happened while writing this and I had to start again! I'm using a different one now.One extra little point - the 'freeze cursor' button is in an odd place at the top right corner. It's reasonably accessible but not very intuitive and as a function that I use a lot, it does spoil the experience a bit. I prefer it central and just below the direction pad.

Works well to control a computer like a TV remote
I use this with a computer behind the TV, which acts as a streaming device. The remote works well, and is always responsive.I only wish the buttons on the remote were back-lit, or at least the buttons could have a raised edge so that you can feel where they are. It would make using it easier without having to keep looking where the buttons are. (This is why TV remotes work so well, as you can feel the buttons and develop a muscle-memory - so you can flick through channels without even looking). Other than that, works as advertised. The remote has been used constantly since I've got it by the Mrs. (She's into her catchup TV), and I've not yet had to change the batteries - so very impressed overall.

Very Good and Very Bad
Function wise it has all the controls you want, Volume control/Play and Pause/TV infra-red power on and off-learning/mute/and a very good Air Mouse.BUT because all the buttons are flat and all the buttons are made of soft rubber, the ones with raised markings are to low to tell which button your finger is on, you will find yourself all ways looking down at the remote to see if you are on the correct button. Which is ok in the daylight BUT at night in low levels of light, it can be difficult to see if your finger is in the right place or not.If they could sort out the buttons, this would be one of the best remotes that you could buy.It has no keyboard but the air mouse is very good, so that is not normally a problem.I am glad I bought this remote, as it is a lot better than meany that I have had.
