Great all around dependable tire. Sand, dirt, rocks, highway!
Mud update at the bottom- see below.2 weeks and 2k miles of highway, dessert, mountains and sand beaches. They are doing great. Have yet to try snow or ice.ABOUT- So I purchased these tires for my tundra half ton pickup. Sl369 LT tires. I wanted new tires prior to leaving on this 4K miles trip through Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and back to Missouri. Most of this trip has been highway miles except for probably 600 miles exploring the rugged terrain in New Mexico and Arizona visiting Indian ruins.DIRT ROADS- The first picture is in the dirt trails in Arizona navigating the ranch feeding cattle, bumps jumps and washed outs. Traction was always there. Never once did my traction control light come on for a loss of traction on the dirt roads.SAND- Second picture was at lake Powell sand beach on a hot dusty sandy day, this sand was fine and soft. With 4x4 I had no troubles. I was even running 35 psi in the front and 50 in the rear. No added traction from airing down. All tire.MOUNTAINS- Lastly but no picture, I ran a hundred miles in southern Utah mountains on dirt roads and rough boulder rocks gouging from the ground. No issues. Tires are holding up great. A few times I was worried that it would be a bad time to have a blow out of puncture a side wall due to the poor driving conditions, but I was able to drive through the rocks.HIGHWAY- The majority of my driving has been highway with speeds up to 90mph. I have had no vibrations or tracking issues. Road noise is minimal. We did encounter a large heavy rain storm in the mountains, no issues from hydroplaning with these tires. The deep tread helps a ton. Highway driving is enjoyable with these smooth tires.INSTALLATION- Now majority of my driving has been highway. With that. Comfort is key for long periods of time. I personally mounted and balanced these tires (prior experience and availability to tools). Although they did take quite a fair amount of weights. (6oz). I am not 100% sure it was the tire, my used aftermarket wheels may have been some of that cause.Overall I am very pleased with these tires. For $600 out the door and on my truck I am very happy with them. I will see how long they last. If I get 50 or 60k miles out of them on my half ton I will be pleased.UPDATE IN THE MUD-it rained today, the truck handles great in the wet sandy mud, easily unpacks from the lungs of the tires and stays off the thread. BUT. CLAY, not so much, this is expected with any A/T type tire. In clay only the tires loaded up and would not clean out until I reached 15-30 mph. Last picture was clay sliding down hill

for the money
For the money I don't think there is a better option, the load rating is easily high enough for a 1 ton, the ride feels better than a 10ply with a higher load rating, sidewalls were stiff when mounting, they make a little more noise than say a nitto terra, but at half the cost I wont complain...
