Do the job but are much stiffer than the taps they replace

These tap cartridges are great quality and it's easy to work out which one you need from the help guide.

The last exact same hot water item didn't last for as long as I would have liked, water was dripping past .that is why I had to buy again. I have had no problems with the cold water.I bought from this site as the items are like for like from the first valves installed.

These saved me a lot of time and money as i didn't have to spend time and money replacing the taps. Easy to order and i was surprised with the shipping speed as turned up the next morning. Took them out, fitted them as I'd already removed the old ones and was good to go. Can't say how reliable they are but my taps are just under 3 years old and the cartridges failed so i don't expect them to last a life time but for the time and money i've saved and the service i received, i have no complaints

I ordered this item after having problems with a similar item from a different seller. That one turned out not to fit our taps and closer inspection revealed that the images were of two slightly different specifications of cartridges. Having different versions clearly separated in this listing gave me confidence that I'd be getting what I wanted ... In case it's of assistance to others, I ordered the VR04 item as a replacement set of cartridges for the VADO Victoriana "Mono Basin Mixer With Pop-up Waste" (AX-VIC-100/CD-CP).These fitted perfectly. The "cold" seems slightly harder to turn, but will presumably get easier with use. My only other complaint was that the retaining screws/bolts have slightly small heads, which I was nervous wouldn't give sufficient overlap with the handles ... so I just re-used the originals. Neither of these issues seem to merit knocking off a star. Will definitely look for "Tap Magician" parts if I'm ever doing similar again.

I've looked a few times & still can't see if it mentions hot tap left or right of the spout! I don't fancy loosening the whole tap off & spinning it round even though it has flexi pipes under the kitchen sink.
