LIke that value remains availiable in more mundane tools.
Wanted a good solid old fashion calculator for the office and this unit, so similar to ones I have had looked to fit the bill. It has so far worked well, appears to interface well with me, and serves my purposes admirably.

paper receipt decsruption
this calculator makes it so easy to pay my Driver‘s due payroll. Calculate my bills do my checkbook and you have a paper receipt where you’ve calculated it and how you’ve got to the total.

Worked well
Product photos was a little misleading. It showed a hardwire calculator also keys were placed differently. The weight was a bit light and power adapter seems flimsy and prone to wire break. The tape was easy to load if you fold it then inserted it at an angle. The keys worked well and the display is bright.

Shoddy
Very difficult to load the paper. I asked RUFUS if there is a trick to loading the paper. RUFUS said that this is a COMMON PROBLEM and people have resorted to You Tube to find the answer! After having spent WAY TOO MUCH TIME trying to perform what should be the simplest task, and after watching a 4 minute YouTube ( where the girl had exactly the same issue and got very frustrated), I asked my husband to try it-he gave up after 30 minutes. I worked in banking and my husband is an engineer. Calculators were part of our daily lives. We Absolutely never had a problem loading the paper! I would have rated this zero given the chance. The girl in the video ended up finally getting the paper loaded and gave that machine to her manager and took the managers machine for her own, so she wouldn’t have that problem again.

Functional great.
Very nice and easily used. My Only concern: I thought it was battery operated. It isn't a problem, however.
