I didn't have the problem other reviewers had with the batteries staying in. If you did have that problem it would be real easy to just use a rubber band to hold the battery in or use it on a power strip so it is laying down.

There is no catch to hold the battery in place! So every time it tips or jiggles the battery falls out. I bought this for travel, so it didn't work very well.
