OriPure Pickup Alnico 5 Humbucker Pickups Electric Guitar Neck Pickup PH5H-BL-N

I got this to replace the weak and thin humbucker in a modern player telecaster it was a definite improvement well worth the money.... docking it 1 star because the instructions enclosed were in Chinese except for the small black and white picture of the pickup and and wiring..It took me a little longer than necessary to solder it in because the wiring was a bit different and I needed it to be a split.It sounds pretty good overall, it’s heavy and thick sounding off of 250k pots but it lacks a bit of mid to high range, but it might just be my old ears and the fact I’m still adjusting the height to my preference (and probably my bad playing).

I was putting together a project guitar, and I wanted to get it together fairly quickly, and try it out before I settled on a pickup combination. I figured that if it turned out to play well, I was gonna go with a set of really nice Dimarzio or Seymour Duncan pickups. My guitar is a strat-style with a planned H-S-H configuration. So, I figured that, before I laid out serious cake for my pickups, I'd put something fairly inexpensive in there to get my wiring together, and try the whole thing out.I got a pair of the Alnico V humbucker-sized pickups at 16.6k and 14k for the bridge and neck positions and one of their single coil-sized 'rail' pickups (10.6k) for the middle position. I have to say, that I'm really impressed. I do a lot of home recording, and the new guitar sounds really good. Glassy highs, midrange that's clean and not overbearing, and some nice, sponge-y bass. If I had to do this project over, the only thing I would change would to get a hotter middle pickup (the 10.6k one I got was white, and the 16k version is black, which would have matched the other two, appearance-wise). I used 500k pots and a .022uf cap. for the wiring harness. I couldn't be happier, so far. I will definitely think about these for my next project.

Bought this pickup to make an improvement to a Squier hss strat I bought years ago as my beginner guitar. This new pickup certainly makes a difference - good clear sound and great value for money. Not too difficult to install but the wiring diagram supplied was useless. But you can find good instructions for a Seymour Duncan humbucker on line and use them - the Oripure pickup has the same color wiring

Pickup sounds good, but about the work Quality, 1 of the holes was not drilled out for the screw that came with it so after considerable time wasted, I had to use a different one, instructions are in black and white, with a four cable wire that's in black and white and only says north and south doesn't mean much to me, had to go to the internet to get a color version. The pickup does sound ok, but I wouldn't buy another.

The pickup arrived early and well packed. I was skeptical at first but was ready having completely gutted my strat. I just kept the volume pot and dropped that pickup in and Wow! Huge difference. No more low hum with the volume up than the stock. Excellent sound with minimal clipping through my processor. I have a descent rig so i can hear everything and this pickup is great for the price. I’m getting alot more than i paid for. Very Happy.

When purchasing the 16.6k bridge pickup, I didn't really think much of it to be honest as it was cheap and pretty much less than half of the price of a Seymour Duncan or DiMarzio I have currently in the guitar. I thought it was going to sound like crap because of the price and quality, but I was completely blown away by how good the pickup sounds. I mainly play metal with lots of gain and have guitars with active pickups in them, but I wanted something passive as I didn't want to worry about changing the batteries.I have tried out Bareknuckle pickups before as well and they're really high quality pickups but they're super expensive usually. I didn't want to put that much money into the guitar as it was pretty inexpensive so I went with these. The pickups are an amazing value and surprisingly, the cleans are really good too.

I replaced a humbucker on my mid 90's Ibanez guitar and this worked very well. I'm new to guitar electronics and never messed with tone a great deal so this humbucker sounds good to me and the music I play. It was easy to install and there's plenty of wire to reach all the components I needed to.

I have this in the Bridge of an HSS Squier Affinity Strat, it really works well, the Strat just rocks out in the Bridge position. You really want to mod your guitar so that you have Bridge tone control with this.

Ok, l'humbucker suona bene, le linee di uscita sono con i colori standard, la scheda che accompagna il pacco é poco chiara riguardo alle uscite, ci sono diverse tipologie di wiring e fra le une e le altre i colori e le linee di uscita si mescolano...Ad ogni modo, in generale é consigliato, di fatto il suono non splittato, é potente e caldo anche se con qualche nota un po acuta per essere un humbucker neck ma non é comunque sgradevole.La spedizione ci mette i suoi tempi, partendo dalla Cina, ma lo consiglio comunque se non andate di fretta.

Duncan TB-6の音が重すぎたので音の軽さとある程度の出力を求めて14KΩのものを選択しました。製品の精度は１万円クラスと変わりませんが新品なのに表面に細かな傷がありました。音質的にはアルニコ５らしい高音の明るさも有るのですが出力が高く中域がかなり強いのでカラッとした音ではありません。見た目通りHR・HM用のPUですね！
