Works great & goes on easily (on all my Nikon D50 lenses/filters). Goes on & off fast, have had no problems but I can't shake this feeling like sometimes it's not on securely enough, wish it had click or snap so you knew it was on perfectly but this is a universal cap so it prob leaves room to adjust ever so slightly..meaning if you're a pedant/perfectionist then maybe get a cap made by your camera or lens maker specifically for that camera/lens.

Just got it yesterday and popped it on my lens and it works as though it was the original. The only difference between this and the original is no logo on it and that does not change the effectiveness of the cap. Beats spending $15 for a cap just to have the camera logo on it.

I ordered this lens cap to replace a lost lens cap for my D7100 Nikon camera. Unfortunately the lens cap is MUCH TOO small and does not fit on the camera. Quality is good if it were the right one.

Too small for a D50. I now see that someone else posted this. Nice quality if it fit properly.
