This kitchen buffet is pretty nice. A good size and very sturdy - well, for my needs at least. Other reviewers might disagree though. I use it for bread-making. Bread-making you ask? Yes. I have two Cuisinart CBK-200 bread makers. And they fit great on the top of this buffet, sitting side by side (or left handle of one facing the right handle of the other). Beneath the bread makers lies all my bread making products; such as flour, bran, oats, granola, spices, rolling pin, spatulas, pizza sauce, jam jars, recipe books, etc. Even with weight of the flour, this cabinet is still standing. And the shelf inside isn't even bending. Yep, for the price, you just can't beat the quality. Best of all, it really isn't that heavy. So if you have it sitting on a hardwood floor and need to slide it or move it for any reason, you can with very little effort. Even loaded down, I can slide this on my hardwood floors. Good purchase, good investment. It works for me.

All things considered, this is a fine piece of furniture. It is the first mail-ordered piece I have ever received that was not broken or damaged somehow. While the packaging didn't look very pretty, the contents were all perfect. Assembly will vary by person, but I would say if you've assembled these types of things before, you'll be fine if you take your time. If you haven't assembled furniture like this before, you might have some difficulties as instructions are a little ambiguous at times. Once assembled, it is a good looking buffet, but I can't see that it would hold up to a ton of use. We are using it in a smallish apt for extra counter top space and storage and for that it works perfectly. I am, however, worried that when we move again, this won't take very much abuse, but sitting still it works nicely. If you are looking for something to expand your kitchen usability and plan on setting it in place and leaving it there, you will be very happy!

This thing did not go together well at all, the holes don't line up and it looks crooked and wonky. I even took some pieces apart and tried again, thinking it was me putting it together wrong. Nope. Don't buy this. I should have paid another $100 or so and gotten a better piece of furniture, now I am stuck with this.

Assembly instruction isn't good to start with, then the wood is soft. We(2 adults) put it together in 3 hrs. Not sure how long it would last. One screw was loose in the hole as soon as we put the screw in. Over all, it is not a high quality piece of furniture. We bought it for our basement. But the price is low, I guess this is what I paid for.

Looks pretty good - could be a little sturdier. Biggest problem - it came with NO instructions as to how to assemble! Good thing my husband is very capable!!

Exactly what I needed. The cabinet is a little shorter than I realized, but it's perfect for my kitchen. Was easy to put together (though suggest an electric screwdriver as my hand hurt for days.) Looks exactly like the picture. Sturdy and clean, with more space inside than one would think. I'm really glad I bought this, and amazed at how affordable it is.

The cabinet is good and looks nice. Not as sturdy as I would like, but I got it at a great price. Would not purchase it at full retail though. Had a problem with the front bottom support piece...The piece split at the center cam lock when assembled, and although it doesn't show unless doors are opened, the support is not as strong. I tried to contact Homecharm but could not get them to understand part needed( they kept thinking it was the door knob !), so I went thru Amazon to remedy problem...I was sent a whole NEW cabinet(free). While I appreciate the new one, it was really a costly solution for Homecharm, since I only need 1 piece. Also suggested they make it with 2 cam locks, for support, on that piece and add drawer stops to keep drawer from pulling out to easily.

Packaging was really torn up. Pieces missing. Broken parts. No instruction on how to put it together. Marketed as "Simple Assembly" when there are a lot of parts.
