Always a fun read
Mr Way is awesome. The stories and artwork are first rate. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a Deadpool fan.

One of Marvel's funniest characters
If you like Deadpool, you will love Daniel Way's character-defining take on the Merc With a Mouth. Deadpool clashes with pirates, finds himself on a thinly-disguised version of The Love Boat, "joins" the X-Men (without an invitation), teams up with Spider-Man (also without an invitation), and battles "Hit Monkey" (a non-human assasin). He ends up helping a southern town get rid of their crooks and their crooked Sheriff's department at the same time. Also, he travels to Vegas and becomes part of their crime-fighting force (or is that crime-committing force?). He meets up briefly with the Ghost Rider before helping Captain America on a convoluted trail to defeat some home-grown terrorists. And, finally -- Deadpool meets some vampires! This is a wild ride, folks, with a lot of violence on the way. If you don't mind all that, and you are familiar with the Crimson Comedian, then you'll find a lot to love in this collection of Deadpool 13-31.

For the young (who have another's) heart (in a closet somewhere behind the bowling ball and dried elk's testicle)
Deadpool, a Marvel Comics character initially created by Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefield in the 90s, is a character who can land in any type of story and then immediately take it over. While I was a huge fan of Joe Casey's original run on Deadpool's first solo series, I've not been all that enamored of Daniel Way's treatment of the Merc with a Mouth. My youngest son, however, can't get enough of the stuff. At 14, the son is -- perhaps -- the perfect audience for this iteration of Deadpool. Deadpool does have an amusing internal monologue, which often argues with itself, contradicts itself and makes for most of the funny.I would have given the book 3 stars at most, but the son insisted on seven. We compromised on 5.

great omnibus, but LONG shipping and a real bad tear
the omnibus it self is hilarious and well worth the money, i find myself cracking up every time i read it. The only reason i gave it four stars was because it took a week and a half just to leave the seller, and another week to actually ship to my house, then when i get it there was a huge tear on the back of the spine that went several pages deep and just made the overall appearance ugly.that was just my copy and the sellers fault however, as far as the actual product it was great

I cannot possibly recommend this series enough
I cannot possibly recommend this series enough. Each of these volumes has a lot of content, which is nice in comparison to a lot of compilation volumes that are so tiny. This take on Deadpool is hilarious and so much fun to read. I couldn't put it down and the only bad part was when I ran out of pages to read.
