Nice workstation but is it worth the $$
I received the item and as described, with some cosmetic damage though in very good overall condition.I really like the toolbox. Its best features are its drawers. They are well constructed. They appear to be made of 18-gauge steel, like the frame with rolled edges. The frame itself is not that different from a 41 inch wide by 21 inch deep C...man work station I had purchased in the mid ninety's which had a similar roll-cage construction except not as heavy duty. This one claims a weight limit of 3600lbs (wow). At the time, my old work station claimed a weight limit of 1200 lbs and it wasn't cheap at $600. Though a stout workstation it's draws were it's Achilles heel. The draws had weird detents which wasted valuable space depth-wise; almost 4-inches compare to the depth of the unit. This one has a very nice heavy duty griplatch. The only thing I found weird is its described length. It's called a 40 inch work station but it's only 38.5 inches wide. I recommend this one especially for what I paid, half the retail price I am happy with this workstation. It's a nice addition to my my 30+ year old workstation. Not sure if it's worth it at full price. I have mostly wood working tools like planes, drills, squares, chisels and saws which fit nicely in this unit.
