Mennon 43mm 16:9 Wide Angle Video Camera Screw Mount Lens Hood with White Balance Cap, Black

I bought this for my CANON VIXIA HR 600 and it works great! It does what a good lens hood should - it blocks out the glare outside in sunshine and inside where you have points of light. Note: ~ Being a smaller attachment - care must be used when attaching this hood to protect the threads, so this is not a quick on and off attachment, but I still like it. Also, the profile of this lens hood allows my camera to sit flat when set down without stressing the hood itself. Improve your shot, block the glare, this Mennon 16:9 lens hood is a MUST HAVE for any Hi Def camcorder with a 43mm lens mount. Thank you Mennon!

I purchased this for use on my Canon HF R800 camcorder. It fits, but I had to grind down part of the plastic locking ring because it interfered with the camcorder's swing open display. Not a big deal for a "universal" product. The lens cap and hood are reasonable quality for the price. I would buy this item again.

This hood and white balance cap are about right for the price. Seems to work well. The white balance cap doesn't fit very well, a bit too small and it is a challenge to attach over the hood.

Got this for two reasons. One was to protect the lens from stray light outside, and the other to make it look more like the $250 lens it is.This thing fits on the ef-m 22mm lens perfectly. It makes it looks more legit and the wide angle prevents vignetting.My only complaint is that the original Canon lens cap does not go on with this attached. It does come with it's own pop on protector that goes on the end of the hood, but I feel safer with the original lens cap on. Just a minor complaint really.Would definitely recommend this hood.

This is not Rolex-grade, but it does its job wonderfully and the price made it very affordable for this amateur. I use it on my Sony RX100 which has an aftermarket screw mount on the lens.
