Husband fishes and uses these buckets to freeze ice for his fish coolers. He used to use ice cream buckets, but we we went on a diet and stopped buying ice cream (sad face). Soon all his ice cream buckets had busted from being frozen with ice too many times. We found these buckets, which are for sure better for our diet, and he loves them. Says they are sturdier than ice cream buckets and he thinks they will hold up longer. He says the lids are very secure and not hard to get on or off. Time will tell. This is the first fishing season, so check back next year for an update. BTW, the fish are really good for our diet as long as we don't fry them. Oh, forgot, we do fry them...hum

Our church is using these to transport soup to a community center. They are very sturdy. The plastic is thicker than I expected it would be. The lids seal as they should. The handles are holding up well with the buckets full of a gallon of soup. I like them so much, I ordered more.

great size. I didn't realize the tab had to be pulled off at first, so getting the lids off was terrible. But, after you snap off the tab, the lids work beautifully. they stack well too.

We purchased these for storage of water in case of outage. Been caught off guard twice this year. They stack easily so they take little space. They seem like they are a secure closure. Pleased
