My IPad Stays Safe
This is the best tablet holder on the market. The price is steep but it keeps your tablet upright.

DO NOT BUY FOR IPAD 10.2"
This product, for ALMOST $50, is absolutely not worth the money. It's a pain to adjust. But even worse- with my BRAND NEW 2021 iPad 10.2" it will not mount the iPad with the holders vertical and the iPad vertical- the iPad is too big. When I mount it with the iPad vertical and the holders horizontal- the iPad eventually slide out the bottom. The only way to mount it is with the iPad in horizontal orientation, and the iKlip holding on the top and bottom. But for my chord sheets, I don't like it that way. I'm using it tonight for the first time on a gig, and there turn period has already passed. All the pictures give the impression that you can mount the iPad vertically with the iKlip holding the sides. That's an absolute lie. They should really update the product description. I've literally thrown away $50, as this product is of no use to me. Great job on the advertising, IK Multimedia Store.UPDATE: Although this product did not work for me, IK Multimedia has been extremely responsive in trying to solve this issue. They are processing a refund. Excellent customer service!

Great product - Amazon Fulfillment/Shipping delayed/late
Works great! Perfect fit and swivel... I was concerned at first when I saw how it assembled, but after I got it onto the mic stand and positioned, it turned out perfectly...And I like the extra adapter to connect to a camera tripod...My only complaint - and this isn't about IK Multimedia is the shipping - since it was fulfilled by Amazon: the last few orders I have placed, 3 or if 4 of them have arrived delayed/ late...

Expensive and Improvements Needed but OK
Overall it's a good design and I'm not sending it back. But I have a few issues with this product.Pros:-The mic stand clamp fits on most thicknesses of mic stands. Some of the larger sound companies opt for big, thick heavy stands. This fits on those as well as the small stands most of us use.-The ball and socket design works well for most ipads. The larger pads, however, don't work as well, as the ball joint is not strong enough. I might suggest you could make additional money with a "Heavy Duty" version. Or, just be cool and make this one beefier for the same price.Cons:-Expensive. I get that there was some design work that went into getting this to the state it is right now, but it's a pretty expensive piece of plastic. I think the value for the money is slightly off in favor of the company not the consumer.-There is a design challenge in my opinion as a musician who has played hundreds if not thousands of gigs with one of these. As I said before, the ball and socket is a good idea. But in order to break down the tablet mount into two bite-sized transportable pieces, you have to remove the tablet clamp with the ball from the stand clamp which is the socket (see picture). The socket is comprised of 2 pieces - one half is part of the mic stand clamp, and the other half is a small piece that comes free when you separate the tablet clamp from the mic clamp. This piece is important as it makes one half of the socket. To make this clear YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE THIS PIECE! Also it's a light piece of plastic that happens to be black. So odds are, if you drop this small piece of plastic during tear down or (worse yet) set up, you are as the industry term suggests...SCREWED. It seems to me like this could be fixed with a hinge at the base of the small piece or just adding a few threads so that you don't have to unscrew it all the way down to get the ball out.Hope this helps. I don't think it's a bad product. Just has some room for improvement.

Great for my gigs
I play for a band and we play over 3 hours of music. The clip holder does what it is suppose to do which is hold the ipad. I have the 12.9 inch ipad pro and the holder did very well.

Not a long term option
Worked fine for over a year, but the rubber part dried out and fell apart and it’s useless now.
