It lights but...
But you can't hang it on the wall. Well, you can but there are two hanging holes, and the switch is also on the back. In order to turn it on you must remove it from the wall, turn it on, then line up the holes with the wall nails and put it back on the wall. Can you imagine a kid doing this?? Also because of the batteries weight distribution, it will not stand on its on. I ended up puttering on a shelf and leaning it against the wall. So just beware.
