Toilet Seat Hinges Top Fixings Universal Replacement Rubber Well Nuts Screws for WC Blind Holes Fittings (2 Pack)

One of my toilet seat Hinge Top Fixing had ceased to work. Regrettably this fitting does not appear to be a 'universal' on and the 'Post' is too narrow and too long to fit into the toilet seat. I was able to dismantle there fitting and take out the gripping element and pair it up with the post from my old fitting. I could find no dimensions of the post when ordering this fitting.

Not as good as old style fixngs

A very solid design. How many of these similar style fittings have we bought? Loads .... all 'nearly' good.But this one was very good indeed. It's mechanical compression and retaining mechanism is very good and makes you wander how we went through so many generations for merely ok fittings to get to this one. Impressed.Less impressive is the quality of the metal finish and thickness. It's poor grade and I wander how it will fare cosmetically over time.Better to have made it £10 for one and make it in 316 grade stainless rather than two for £9.99 in whatever poor grade pressed metal it is.That said it looks ok not and is working fine so far.Packaging wise as well, the supplier has not over burdened it with to much 'stuff' .... all good. That said ditch the plastic bags and go paper/card bags. Time has come. No seller of hardware should be using plastic now .... it's simply not acceptable going forward.

The product was well manufactured and almost did the job. The downside was that the location pins were too large for my toilet seat. I compromised by using the rubber inserts with the old assembly to make a satisfactory arrangement. This was always going to be an unknown situation as the diameter of the pins was not stated on the website. I would suggest that the company quotes the pin size so as not to waste people's time (and theirs) having to send them back or do what I did.

Didn't fit my Twyford toilet description. Stayed for most makes very dissapointed straight in the bin as it would cost more to send back in postage

After buying countless other products to secure toilet seats I was very surprised how well these fixings worked. Yes, the toilet seat still comes loose after much use but in this house young children jig about to get on and off the seat but I can easily tighten it again. In the past I have purchased very expensive toilet seats and had them fitted by plumbers and been unsatisfied even allowing for young children wobbling about on the seat. I can recommend these fixings and can say they worked for me,

I’ve given A 5* review as they were value for money but unfortunately they were the wrong diameter so had to send them back but had a super quick refund ! Had they been right though we would have kept them and they would have been easily installed

Literary just finished fitting these.Very easy to fit, and seam sturdy enough however time will tell.Hardest part of the job was removing old fittings as they had ceased.
